When selecting an air source heat pump water heater, the following factors shall be fully considered: local climatic conditions, daily average hot water consumption, continuous hot water supply duration, hourly average hot water demand, peak hot water demand, target hot water temperature and auxiliary heating temperature. The unit’s daily operating time is set to account for 70% of the daytime period. Match different tank capacities to meet peak hot water demand; select a unit with matched defrosting function (or corresponding defrost model if required) based on local climate to fully cover peak hot water consumption.
